One really cool feature in SAP Business One is the ability to store boiler plate text in a text library, then pull that text on demand into a Sales Quote, Sales Order, Delivery, AR, PO, GRPO, AP Etc… Basically, all Marketing Documents.
To enable this great feature, you need to first turn on the “Type” field in the desired document.
Example, Sales Quotation, turning on the Type field:
Now that the TYPE field has been activated, your have a TYPE dropdown option called “Text”. When a user adds a text line, they can enter up to 256,000 characters as well as store common text for reuse, or pull from a text library. The text library can be established as you use this feature or from the Administration menu; Administration > Setup > General > Predefined Text.
